Jada Davis

Attorney

Jada Davis is a multi-dimensional attorney whose practice focuses on family law, including divorce and mediation, as well as entertainment law. She represents individuals and families in complex divorce and child custody matters, while also advising musical artists, influencers, and other creatives on contracts and related legal issues.

Jada is a member of the board of directors of the Milwaukee Bar Association, which has served the interests of the lawyers, judges, and the people of Milwaukee County since 1858. As a Milwaukee native, Jada is deeply committed to serving families throughout Milwaukee and the surrounding communities.

Jada serves as a mediator for Milwaukee County Family Court, and her family law practice focuses on divorce proceedings involving child custody and placement disputes, as well as the division of significant assets and property. She regularly handles matters including divorce petitions, temporary orders, and orders to show cause, and has extensive experience guiding clients through emotionally and financially complex situations.

In addition to traditional divorce litigation, Jada is trained in collaborative divorce – a non-litigious process in Wisconsin in which parties work with counsel to reach resolution through structured negotiations rather than court intervention. She partners closely with clients to identify the most effective path forward — whether through mediation, collaborative divorce, or litigation — with a focus on achieving practical and sustainable outcomes.

Jada also maintains a growing entertainment law practice, representing clients in the drafting, review and negotiation of contracts, including non-disclosure agreements, influencer agreements, and brand-related protections. Her interest in this area is deeply personal. As a professional dancer, Jada began working with artists through her involvement in the creative community, where she was frequently sought out for legal guidance. Her personal brand, “The Dancing Lawyer,” reflects her unique intersection of legal practice and the arts. This firsthand industry experience enables her to provide practical, informed counsel to clients navigating the business side of creative work.

Jada serves as Board Secretary for Arts @ Large, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding youth access to the arts in the Milwaukee community. She is passionate about giving back to the creative community that helped shape her professional path.
