Collaborative divorce is an option for couples who seek an outcome that is best for all family members.

In the collaborative divorce process, the couple works in tandem with attorneys and divorce coaches fostering the necessary communication and financial understanding to allow the couple to reach a satisfactory and unique division of their marital state and for support as needed.  Children also have a voice with a child specialist to help reduce the stress of divorce and minimize parental conflict.

This type of divorce requires full and open disclosure and discussion. The goal is not to burn bridges or “win” but, rather, support all family members through the divorce with respect and to preserve civilized relationships.  Because this is outside the realm of traditional adversarial representation, attorneys must be trained in how to best represent a client’s interest while also facilitating the communication process to secure a peaceful resolution.
