For nearly four decades, Catherine has built a respected trial and appellate practice representing clients in complex civil litigation, family law, appellate law, alternative dispute resolution, and related matters. She founded La Fleur Law in 1996 and has grown the firm into a certified woman-owned Wisconsin law firm with offices in Milwaukee, Waukesha, and Minocqua.
Catherine is an NBTA Certified Civil Trial Specialist and has handled complex, multi-million-dollar cases and jury trials across a wide range of practice areas. In addition to her work representing clients, she has taught litigation and trial advocacy at Marquette University Law School for more than 20 years as an adjunct professor, helping prepare future lawyers for the courtroom and the demands of client advocacy.
Her professional leadership includes service as chair of the State Bar of Wisconsin Litigation Section, two terms on the State Bar of Wisconsin Board of Governors, and six years as an elected member of the Wisconsin Judicial Council. She is also a Fellow of both the State Bar of Wisconsin and the American Bar Association.
